NIXSolutions: Global Cloudflare Outage – Ongoing Issues

Users worldwide are reporting connection errors when trying to access websites that rely on Cloudflare’s CDN and DDoS protection services. The severity of access issues seems to vary by region, with some users experiencing no problems while others face significant downtime. Downdetector, a service that tracks outages, has registered a spike in complaints related to Cloudflare disruptions, further confirming the widespread nature of the issue.

While Cloudflare has acknowledged that it is performing scheduled maintenance in Singapore and Nashville (USA), there is no indication of any ongoing problems on the company’s service status page. Despite this, many users continue to report difficulties accessing websites, with browsers returning error messages pointing to server connection issues.

Reports of Global Access Problems Continue

Technology news platform BleepingComputer, which has also been affected by the outage, provided an update on the situation. According to their statement, “Our users are experiencing intermittent access issues. However, monitoring tools show we are still receiving traffic, indicating the outage is regional, notes NIXSolutions.” As of the report’s publication, users in the U.S. could access the site, but staff members in other countries remained unable to do so.

Downdetector registered a noticeable increase in complaints about Cloudflare around 20:45, which aligns with when BleepingComputer first noticed the access problems. Similarly, reports have surfaced on the social platform X, with users noting that their websites are inaccessible via the IPv4 protocol but remain accessible through IPv6.

NodeJS Services Impacted by Cloudflare Outage

In addition to individual websites, NodeJS has also reported disruptions. The organization stated that the Cloudflare issue is affecting access to nodejs.org, including the availability of Node.js package downloads.

BleepingComputer has reached out to Cloudflare for comments on the situation, but the company has yet to respond. We’ll keep you updated as new information becomes available.
