At the recent Galaxy Unpacked event, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy AI, a suite of artificial intelligence-powered features tailored for the upcoming S24 series. Surprisingly, Samsung has plans to extend this innovative experience to its premium phones and tablets from the previous year.
Expanding Galaxy AI to S23 Series and More
According to Engadget, Samsung is committed to introducing the Galaxy AI features to the Galaxy S23 series, including the S23FE, ZFold5/ZFlip5, and Tab S9, in the first half of the year. This strategic move aims to enhance the capabilities of existing devices, aligning them with the cutting-edge technology showcased in the latest flagship models.
Exploring the New AI Tools
Samsung’s latest AI arsenal includes notable features such as Chat Assist, designed to translate in real time and fine-tune the tone of texts and emails. Additionally, Suggested Edits on Photos automatically corrects shadows and displays, while Circle to Search collaborates with Google Search, merging traditional text queries with visual search reminiscent of Google Lens, notes NIX Solutions.
Uncertainties Surrounding Compatibility
It remains uncertain whether the entire suite of Galaxy AI functions will be universally available across all devices or if the transfer will be conducted on a case-by-case basis. Questions also arise about the functionality of these tools without the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Exynos 2400, the powerhouses behind the S24 line.
