NIX Solutions: X to Deprive Premium Users of Ability to Hide Blue Checkmarks

Last year, Social Network X, owned by Elon Musk, introduced a feature allowing premium subscribers to hide blue verification checkmarks on their profiles. However, the platform has now reversed this decision, notifying users that this feature will soon be removed.

Notification of Policy Reversal

Users of Social Network X received notifications announcing the upcoming removal of the ability to hide the verification checkmark. The administration did not specify a timeframe for this change. Previously, instructions on how to hide the verification icon were available on the support page for X Premium users, but this section has since been removed.

“As a Premium or Premium+ subscriber, you can hide the checkmark on your account. The checkmark will be hidden in your profile and messages. It may still appear in some places, and some features may indicate that you have an active subscription,” the feature description reads.

Distribution of Blue Ticks

NIX Solutions reminds that recently, Social Network X has been awarding free blue ticks to influential users with over 2,500 verified subscribers. Premium subscriptions were offered to users with more than 5,000 verified subscribers, while those with more than 10,000 verified subscribers received Premium+ subscriptions.

We’ll keep you updated on any further developments regarding the verification checkmark policy on Social Network X.
