Tailored Recommendations for Optimal Configuration

The main settings page in Windows 11 will dynamically adapt to individual user needs. By analyzing specific usage patterns, the system will offer recommended settings that align with each user’s preferences. For instance, frequently adjusted options like display settings and sound adjustments will take prominence, ensuring quick and easy access. Additionally, users will find information about available OneDrive cloud storage, Microsoft 365, and Xbox subscription status. While the initial menu comprises up to seven cards, Microsoft plans to expand this selection in the future. This feature was initially tested in June.

Effortless Transition with Windows Backup App

An upcoming feature that Microsoft is poised to release is the Windows Backup app. Introduced in May, this application allows users to back up their PCs before transitioning to new devices.

Aside from seamlessly applying current user settings to the new PC, the app will also retain all pinned applications on the desktop, start menu, and taskbar. Microsoft clarifies that previously installed apps won’t automatically install on the new PC. Instead, users will receive shortcuts to the Microsoft Store or the developer’s site for installation.

Elevating Visuals with Dynamic Lighting

An intriguing update is underway for the Dynamic Lighting function in Windows 11. Initially designed to control RGB lighting through the open standard HID LampArray, this update will empower Windows 11 users to not only adapt lighting but also synchronize the Windows accent color with peripheral colors. This synchronization creates a cohesive visual workspace. Furthermore, users can establish distinct color schemes for different devices, adding a personalized touch.

All these features are encompassed within Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22631.2262, accessible to Beta Channel members, notes NIX Solutions. Stay tuned for an enhanced Windows 11 experience that caters to diverse user needs and preferences.
