As part of this year’s Google I/O conference, developers introduced a new feature that extends the capabilities of the Help Me Write AI tool to mobile versions of the Gmail service. This innovative neural network tool has been tested by Google testers on desktop Gmail for some time and is now available for Android and iOS users.
Benefits of the Help Me Write tool on mobile devices:
- Email Editing: Help Me Write tool allows you to edit already written emails. If the text of the letter is too long, it can be shortened. Also, the tool is able to give the letter a more formal or informal tone, add emoticons to create a more relaxed atmosphere.
- Email generation: If the user does not have time to write a full-fledged letter, you can set a small hint, and based on it, the AI algorithm will generate a detailed message. The generated email can be edited manually or you can use the previously mentioned editing features.
However, as the source points out, at the moment, the Help Me Write tool does a better job of editing messages than writing them. The general availability of the Help Me Write functionality for mobile Gmail is still unknown, notes NIX Solutions, but in the near future, users will be able to try out this tool and evaluate its capabilities.
